Interesting.  My daughter takes Cortef twice a day.  The endo offered to switch her to Dex once a day if she wanted to do that.  She thought Kristin may prefer once a day to twice.  Kristin told her twice a day wasn’t a problem for her and we all decided to follow that old adage, "if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it."
