I have to be very aware of this when cooking and although I add some salt to the actual cooking it’s never enough for me. There are occasions when the family will say "wow this is salty" and I’ll taste it and it will be just perfect (for me), or if they think it is perfect I’ll think it is as bland as.......so of course I add more to mine.
Does Ashley also love all the olives, fetta cheeses, anchovies, sun-dried tomatoes, lemon, vinegar etc....yum or is he a bit young yet? Do you have cheese Twisties in NZ? They were my absolute favourite when I was a kid.
