Jessica KI responded to your first post. I hope things are becoming clearer too you & your family. Most people have never heard of CAH, but it is going to be ok...you and your family have all of us on this board to help you see through these next few weeks. This is not some horrible debilitating problem, it’s just something that you need to watch in your child (like parents of diabetics have to watch their children more, but in this case it’s not a well known problem). You will find that as time passes, it’s not the biggest thing in your granddaughters life, just a part of her life.
My daughter has Salt Wasting CAH and the first few weeks were a nightmare, I wont lie about it. Now, it’s in my mind just like having to get her in the bath & get her dressed..the med’s are just a part of her routine. She 6 months old & full of life and giggles and love.
Enjoy her, take some time to figure this all out & realize that you are not alone
