My 9 month old son has CAH since birth.  I am lucky that I am able to stay home with him and not put him in daycare (although I would be really afraid too, since the children at daycare get sick and colds more frequently), however my son is not growing properly.  He is 9 months old and only 26 inches tall and 17.4 lbs.  The doctors are very concerned and are increasing his flornif thinking that may be the cause.  Has anyone with CAH ever been given a growth harmone.  I spoke with the doctor regarding this and he said it may be a possibility since he will also loose a few inches during his teenage years also.  I was wondering how it works and if there are any side affects.
