I second JanetD’s advice...

I am an adult male w/ non-salt wasting CAH.  I’m 21-hydroxylase def.  I know what it’s like to grow WAY to fast as a little boy.  If your son does not get treated (start taking meds), he will go through puberty much too early, never reach his full adult height, and of greatest concern, will remain susceptible to infection.  (As a teenager, I had simple toncilitis which rapidly developed into a peritoncilar absess, and nearly closed my throat, when my doctors didn’t know to increase my steroids.)  Cortisone is critical for all of us w/ this disease.  And I strongly recommend you have your other children tested as well.  Why not?  Information can only help.  As I hope this posting has as well.  Have a nice day, Eric
