This story made me laugh!! I had a adrenalectomy two years ago ( I had NCCAH) and I am now a salt waster which I wasn’t before. I didn’t even like salt before my adrenalectomy and now I can’t get enough of it. My fridge is stocked with V8 and pickles!! I drink one V8 every morning and this helps with the salt cravings. When I first started with the salt cravings I felt like I needed to actually "taste" the salt instead of eating (or drinking) things with high sodium. This made me eat A LOT of chips and french fries.... which isn’t so good. Now I am sticking to my drinks and gotta LOVE the pickles. Even though they don’t "taste" salty, it takes away the cravings. Anyways... I loved the story and I can relate.... Take care!! Amy
