Yes, my SWCAH son had low glucose with illness when he was 2 years old.  His blood sugar dropped to 22 and he had a full blown seizure.  You can not "miss" it.  We got him to the ER and once they realized what was going on, they gave him a shot of Glucose and an IV drip with more glucose.  He came around and we have since taken to the glucose monitor to help assess his sugar levels during stress and illness.  By the way, he is 10 years old now and doing well.  Thank God.  I must say it was very scary.  Good luck.
