Danny, one more thought - does the over-eating/over-weight problem affect younger and pre-pubertal CAH kids more than the teens who have already gone through puberty?  Could that have anything to do with it?  I know part of it is a control thing, but could it also be their metabolism due to the CAH, not having gone through puberty yet, etc?  I only wonder because my daughter fought weight from the age of 5 until she was about 12 or 13.  At that time she did face some other issues which caused her to lose a bunch of weight, but once those were resolved she did not put the weight back on.  At that time (totally related to the other issues) she went off Lupron and puberty progressed.  Once she went through puberty, she began to actually lose weight.  I  know she has been eating better, but I think metabolism  has a lot to do with it as well.  Surely metabolism changes during/after puberty.  I know I worried a lot about her weight when she was younger and now she almost 16 and slim and a healthy weight for her height.  She has gone from a size 16 riding jacket when she was about 12 yrs old to a size 10 now which is actually big on her.  I know the weight issue is a hard one for parents and kids and was just wondering if anyone else had experienced this with their child.
