Headaches with CAH
Jun. 24th, 2004   4:32am

Can an adult with CAH tell me if you get headaches when you push it too hard or have a big day?  My 4 year old SWCAH son has been complaining the last few days that his head hurts.  He has never complained of a headache before but we have been extremely busy the past few days and he seems to be more tired at the end of the day.  Today he just seemed really out of it, had no energy, and kept complaining about his head.  When he was 20 months old he was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation (mild), which can cause severe headaches but the Neurologist told us he was fairly sure that he would outgrow it by age 5.

Now I don’t know if:

I hate to seem like an excessive worrier but everytime things don’t seem normal I just don’t know what to think.  I hate not knowing.  We did double dose him and he seems to be sleeping fine tonight so it is probably nothing but I just wanted to be sure.

Thanks, in advance.
