Our son was having headaches the last two weeks of school quite regular. He would be fine one minuet and screaming the next. It happened twice at school and I brought him home early then one time at our archery club and I came home and called his endo to see if there was a problem with his meds maybe.

He told us to take him to the ER to have his blood pressure checked so we spent 4 hours in the hospital they ran a CT scan and blood work and found nothing. Our endo said it might be something he was doing to skip out of school or get attention and I didn’t believe it because he has never been that type of kid (besides he even had one on a field trip to the zoo with school).

Now that school is out he hasn’t had one. So maybe it was stress related with all the pressure of the last weeks of school and all. It was very scary for sure.

He also got one this past winter when he was wrestling in a tournament. I’m almost positive that one was caused by stress becase he had never been in a tournament before and he was a little stressed. I don’t think we’ll be doing that again next year.
