My 4 year old daughter is not chubby but has filled in more this last year in the tummy and side areas from always being on the skinny side. I notice she becomes "hungry" the minute she is bored: in the car, her friends go home, etc. We are trying to talk to her about this as she is so young and this is a bad habit to get into. On occasion she completely loses it and screams "I’m HUNGRY!" You feel so bad. So I try to point out something interesting to look at but she’s crying. Ugh, the guilt. We talk about 3 meals and healthy snacks. She can really eat but I always try to make it helathy. This is a tough one. Also, Heather, your daughter and mine are on the sam doses. Zenya weighs about 40 pounds. I know you can’t compare doses 100% because some with CAH do porduce cortisol just not enough and then there is how fast their bodies metabolize....but I wonder what your daughter’s levels are. Our 1st endo kept Zenya quite oversuppressed the first year. She had the opposite problem though, wouldn’t eat and stopped growing in height. All her levels were always <0 or <10 etc. this is too low. A little Cortef goes a long way. Do you have the levels of 17ohp to share? That may shed some light. Good luck JuliaJulia S
