Also..... my friend is a paramedic and he has told me that they are trained to look for medical jewelry regardless of what it looks like. It only takes a couple seconds for them to look at the bracelet to see if its something important. Generally they look on the left wrist... he recommended that I only wear a med alert there. (I asked him if I could wear like an anklet and he told me they would be less likely to check) Anyways.... hopefully we can trust that if in a crisis we would get someone that uses their training skills out on the job.
