I feel the same way you do! My grandson is the salt waster and almost died. We did not have the newborn screening! The Cares Foundation has started doing this state by state. They just got thru with California. Go to www.caresfoundation.org It is a great website with all kids of help and support. They would love to have your help with this especially if you are still in OK and want to get this passed!!!!! This great foundation is amazing!!!! We need awareness just like the other disorders like diabetis, aids etc. We are working on this. Trying to get EMT personnel to carry our kits and just to be aware. We all need to email oprah to get us on her show to help. Alot of people have been sending her emails. www.oprah.com. This disorder has been quite too long.  We need it nationwide like you said.
