BelindaHelo,
I am a mum of a nearly 4 month old boy with SWCAH.
He cried heaps and was constantly thirsty when his sodium levels were low. I would firstly rule out any abnormalities with his bloods , very important and you are still very early into CAH for it to be completely leveled out.
Be insistant with your MD that your child is checked out as soon as possible .
Sounds like you are doing an amazing job as a Mother and as the others have said your feelings of frustration are very normal!
I was told off just last night by my 9 year old for being mean to the baby! All I did was put him down in a grump, because he wouldnt stop crying ! Turned out he and I were both exhausted after along day and lack of sleep.
It is also quite normal for babies to feed frequently ( even 1-2 hourly ). I am a Midwife and have seen this alot as well as my 5 children all did it at tiomes.
I sleep with my children to get enough sleep and we all are happier.
Try having a wrm bath togrther at night , then snuggling down with a warm bed.
I wish you well,
belinda
