belindahello everyone,
my wee man is on hydro , has a suspension mixed up by the pharmacy.
He has 4.5 mg a day , in three doses. This is a minute amount that he still hates to have ( hes 4 months nearly)
We were told by the hospital pharmacist that it is stable for 3o days if kept, above 4 celcius and below 28 celcius , so we keep it in the fridge.
Eddie has had tiny alterations to his doses.I have read that one reason Endos prescibe tablets is that the dosing is standardised, but I argue that our children are notStandard issues so need to be given doses appropriate to their needs. This is where a suspension works well.
