I just read your post RE: your daughter, and my heart aches for you.  While I can never say that I completely know your pain (God spared my son), I still cry when I recall the first month of his life, and the fear that gripped my heart as I watched him literally disappearing before my eyes.  Luckily, we refused to listen to the pediatrician who told me that "babies just cry," and "some babies have to be taught to eat," and he is still with us today.
