Thank you everyone for the information.  I am so glad to hear that your children are involved in sports.  My husband and I are quite athletic (ok, I was until I had a baby!) and I want my son to be able to be involved in sports if he wishes.  I had no idea what to expect, but your stories sound very positive and reassuring. 

One more concern - have any of you had problems getting insurance because cah is a pre-existing condition? My son keeps getting denied - any advice/help on this area would be greatly appreciated!
