We are in the same boat. My husband is also self employed. We live in Arlington and I have been getting quotes for policies for the whole family. I have the info for the risk pool, just in case we can’t get coverage for my daughter.

We do have a major medical policy, which only covers a major accident or illness. We pay out of pocket for meds, Drs, labs etc.
