I’m with Elizabeth...registering could be a hindrance for a community like this.  At Bodies, registration is required but I do that because we had some creeps at one time and I wanted to make sure I had a tracking method of some type in place.  Those interested in being creeps usually don’t complete the process which only email verification.

However, this community is a bit different and that first post for some new moms and dads or other family members could be a step that is perceived as exclusionary.

The other issue is almost a ghetto-ization of the community.  Trying to slot people into different catagories will likely lead to less inclusiveness.  A message regarding a situation that involves salt-wasting could be ignored by those that are SV and vice versa. 

What is wrong with simply stating these items in the post or if they are absent, asking?
