HopeYou could do as I do for my infant son... I pull 1cc of water into a 1ml oral syringe... put the cap on the end and pull the stopper out... drop the tablet in (cut with a pill splitter if necessary)... wait less than a minute for it to dissolve... put the stopper back on and shake the syringe to get the meds to the stopper end... add 1cc of flavored syrup that we get from the local children’s hospital pharmacy.
This sounds like a lot when you write it out, but really only takes less than a minute from start to finish. My son has taken his meds this way since 1 month old (he’s over a year now), and doesn’t fight us at all. In fact, he’ll walk over to you when you tell him it’s time for medicine. I know lots of people let their kids just chew them up and are sucessful with this, but I’ve tasted both the Florinef and the Cortef and YUCK!!! I wouldn’t want to chew on these, so I don’t let him either.
