Without a doubt you should complain. My husband once had the flu and after throwing up several times he passed out and broke his nose! At the ER the only thing they were worried about was his nose. I  told them repeatedly that he had CAH they did not see that as a problem. The following week at an appointment with his endocrenologist he told my husband that if I had not thought to give him a double dose of his predisone before leaving home he would probably would have died in the ER. Any time he is sick enough to visit the ER he is to get 100 cc IV cortisone because of the stress illness puts on your adrenals.
