hi jen! my 6 month old swcah son is also teething right now and has run a fever as high as 100.3 rectally. i do not stress dose him for this and he has done fine. he is fussy, but not lethargic or anything. i dont THINK it is necessary. my peds endo said it wasnt as well. now, when he runs a fever over 101 after vaccines, i DO double the dose!
