jennySherry,
Likewise sorry you had so much trouble! I would definetly complain. We have had lots of trips to the ER. 1st thing I do is triple the dose (even if unsure especially with tem 104) then as I’m on my way to ER I always call the endo and let them know I’m on my way to hosp. She then calls the hospital. When I get to ER I tell them about the CAH also a SW. I have never had to wait. Once they told me to have a seat and I just walked right in & explained the situation and that’s all it took! There’s never been an endo on duty. Once I got lucky. But the Dr. always calls my endo & gives them the diag. then she will give the Dr. instructions for the CAH if any needed. Then we do the follow up with the ped. Just my routine!
