When my daughter was going through the teething (can’t remember which teeth!) she was crabby and things just weren’t "right". There might have been a little bit of a temp, but not enough to stress dose on.  Our endocrine nurse suggested that I do a double dose. If I didn’t see any improvement in her demeanor after 24 hours, then the behaviors weren’t related to needed extra meds. I did see improvement, and continued to do the double dose for 2-days.

As as side note, my daughter was not diagnosed until 15-months (long story very short -- adopted at 7.5 months, 11-beta CAH) It was amazing to watch this child’s personality change over the first weekend she was on meds. I was therefore very observant to some of those changes. Now that she is 5.5, I’m not nearly as good!
