AndrewHi Rachel
Circadian Rhythm refers to the internal body clock we all have, and which dictates how we tend to feel at certain times of day e.g. alert or tired etc.
Circadian rhythm dosing attempts more closely to match the dosing to the natural body clock response in healthy people by dosing more regularly and in smaller amounts.
It can also entail giving a larger dose to match the early morning cortisol spike in a healthy person.
Doctors rate compliance as more important, and will often structure an easier dosage pattern. Some patients get more benefit from circadian rhythm dosing than others, and it seems to be those who are on higher doses that benefit most.
