My non-CAH son got chicken pox around aged 3 and 2 weeks later, my SWCAH daughter caught it at age 5.  I was always dreading her getting it but knew that she would one day have it, especially as she was mixing with kids at playgroups and school.  In fact, I was surprised she didn’t get it at a younger age.  Lots of her friends had it younger but some how, it escaped her until her brother gave it to her!  My son had a temperature for a couple of days before the spots came out, but luckily, my daughter coped better.  She wasn’t even ill with it and I didn’t even double dose her medication.   So, you never know, your little one might be just fine!  Good luck!
