I too had my daughter vaccinated for chicken pox. BUT if I can somewhere I read or heard that, they suggest NOT stress dosing. Again ALWAYS check with your child’s endo. for this info. Doesn’t make sense to me if the fever gets high. But I think it has something to do with the fact they are on steriods. I read it on the info. pamphlet they give you with your meds. Listed on the Cortef info. it says something about chicken pox and using the medication. I am sure they are talking about if you use this drug for something other than CAH. But I am no where near being a doctor, nor a pharmacist, so please don’t take my word for it. Best advice to do is to call your endo. Ewww, you got me itching now!
