Reading it was a nice way to start the day.  What is good about it has nothing to do with the quality of the writing, nor whether it’s a "true story."  It simply gave me a nice feeling.  What I like most is that you cared enough about the people on this board to share it with them.  Thanks for the gesture.

And for the record, I make my living as a writer.  In one way, or another, I can promise you that most of the good folks on this board are familiar with some of my work.  This does not mean my opinion matters more than anyone else’s.  Everyone is entitled to their opinion. 

Don’t let a critical view hurt you personally -- even when you are the creator of the work.  Even when the criticism can be read as somewhat of a personal attack.  Danny provides us all an incredible good with this site.  His long-term efforts demonstrate his character far better than any single post.
