Well folks, the dissolving of the pill in a syringe (5ml) of apple/grape juice seemed to do the trick.  I tried to get her to chew it and it got spit out like a tennis ball out of a tennis ball machine. :)  I showed her how I swallow my thyroid pill, saying that I had the best magic trick in town.  Watch me make the pill disappear.  She was interested, but not fooled.  So, I introduced her as Christigician, the most famous magic trick baby in the world.  We all gathered round to watch her make the liquid in the syringe disappear...............AND IT WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Thanks to all of you for your suggestions of how to get it down.  Oh, by the way, we had a small piece of cake left from our 4th of July get together so that day that the pill went flying I crushed up another one and sprinkled it on a scoop of cake I had in a spoon.  She took it right down.  So, disguises CAN work for me as well.  I am very greatful for all of you.  Thanks!

Now, I have noticed that she is peeing more than before.  Since taking the cortef I have had to put a diaper on her at night because she started peeing the bed.  She is still peeing above and beyond what the diaper can hold, totally saturating the bed at night.  She also has started peeing on herself, unable to hold her bladder long enough to make it to the bathroom in time.  This was not an issue before the cortef, matter of fact her school had commented to me one time what amazing control she had exhibited at school, and I have seen it for myself at home.  So I know it isn’t a "control" issue, do you guys think her body is getting rid of extra water weight this quickly, or am I just jumping the gun?  Thanks!
