My teenage son goes into a crisis situation easily, they learn to recognise the signs - I would like him to learn to inject himself.  He always carries a vial of hydrocortisone on him, and his cell phone.  It is worrying but like everything else, you get used to it.  Perhaps your son can learn to inject?
