Thanks for all the feed back and some great suggestions.  I did some thinking this afternoon and actually had a discussion with my daughter.  We talked through my concerns and hers, which surprisingly there really weren’t any on her part.  She told me everything she thought she should do.  But it did get me to thinking about taking some extra steps that I am going to do.

I’m not at all concerned about leaving him with family, friends or a few neighborhood sitters that we use.  My children actually go away once a year with my mother and her husband for a weekend.  They are usually about 2 - 3 hrs from us.  I have never really worried about that.  I just got to thinking about my daughter and even my son himself when he gets older.

I really got some valuable advice from all you so thank you, thank you all as always for your suggestions and support.
