hi tanya! it definitely does sound like there is some sort of endocrine problem. if they think it is a tumor, why didnt they order a MRI of the head?? maybe they are waiting on the lab results first. i have a 6 month old swcah son who is already 22 lbs, so i dont think your little guy is that big. either way, both conditions are very treatable. hang in there! let us know how it comes out...
