louiseok. want to get others thoughts/experience here. i have a 7 month old swcah son. i also have 2 other non cah little ones, all under the age of 5. i have GOT to get out of this house here. a hair cut, a lunch, even a dentist’s appointment. anything at this point. my 2 girls are in pre-school, but it is out for the summer. i have not left joey with anyone but my mom or sister (God love them) yet. i think it might be ok to let my 16 year old neighbor watch them for a few hours occasionally. i have a LONG list of emergency #s and a note that reads "joey has a genetic disorder called CAH (congenital adrenal hyperplasia). if he develops a serious illness such as a fever, vomiting, diarrhea, broken bone, etc., please call me immediately. " he also wears a medic-alert bracelet. i dont want to scare her b/c joey is a very easy going baby, as well as my girls. i am never more than a 15 minute drive away, either. having said that, i know i can not go over injections or stress dosing with a 16 year old babysitter. what do you guys think?? honestly.... thanks!
