re: babysitters??

I strongly feel you can not let CAH rule your life. As long as you take all the precautions, like emergency numbers, checking out the babysitter, etc. Then you should go ahead and leave him with a sitter. I know it is hard when they are young. My daughter (SWCAH) is 7 and I remember being scared to death to leave her. But in reality you have to sometime.  Many people have posted that even when their kids are in school the school will not give the emergency injection. I have never trained my babysitters in giving the injection. It sounds like you will be fairly close anyways and could get home in an emergency. I don’t think 15 minutes would create a life and death situation. You have your hands full with 3 children, you deserve and I am sure need a break once in awhile. Sometimes it helps to start out small. Hour here and there until you feel comfortable. Or even have the sitter come to your house and watch the kids while you take a bath or read a good book in your room. Once you get over the initial hump it will get easier.
