Thank you to everyone that posted. I am having her go to my own OBGYN for her pregnancy. She was AWESOME when my daughter was born. She explained everything to my family that was waiting in the waiting room. Ironically one of those people was my niece.  I pray she does not pass it to her baby. She is only 19 and has so much to deal with as we speak. My question is, would insurance cover this? I assume it is considered genetic testing. I hate the insurance companies anyway. I can’t imagine them feeling this is medically necessary. You know they would banter back and forth about every detail. How soon do results come back also? Thanks so much everyone!
