I do not have CAH but I have a 9 yr old son with SWCAH.  We have only administered the shot once for vomiting.  He has vomited other times and weathered it very well.  We didn’t even need to go to the emergency room the time we administered it.  Obviously my son has not experienced some of the emotional stresses an adult might however, in his young world he has experienced his own stresses.  He has lost two grandparents 18 months apart from each other and has gone through much testing for learning disabilities.  He has never been bothered by emotional stresses.  We have never even needed to stress dose him for emotional stress.  Mind you all individuals are different.  I’m just stating how my son has handled emotional stress thus far.
