Just as a reference my 13 yr old daughter (borderline saltwasting) is on 7.5 mg cortef 3X daily and .1mg fludrocortisone 1X and she is 110 lbs. Until recently we have also kept her 17OHP low; usually in the 100 range. She kept growing and seemed healthy so we kept it there. I think the endos like to look at the whole picture. We relied more on her other results (bone age, androstendione and testosterone) to see how she was doing than just the 17OHP. You are doing a great job by being informed. I wish we had questioned the doctors way back in the beginning.
