I was hoping that some of the males (or parents of CAH boys/men) on this discussion group could help me out.  Our little boy is just about 6 weeks old, and has SWCAH. 

I would love to hear stories about how you have dealt with CAH (as a child and/or adult), what you are doing now, health/social issues, etc.  I have read so much in the past few weeks that my head is spinning! For example, some studies say exercise and adult (target) height are only marginally affected, while others disagree.  Yet others discuss mood-related changes or learning issues, while others don’t.  I’m sure it works out differently for each individual, but my hunch is that the best way to tease apart some of these issues is to ask people who are living with it and who are nice enough to post some of their experiences.  

Believe me, your input is greatly appreciated! I want to do whatever I can to help out our little guy.  Hopefully, he can return the favor some day and post his own experiences on this board.
