JanellMy son (3months and SWCAH) had a draw today to check his sodium level. The endo called to change his Florinif dose because his level was too high (147). I also talked to his regular pediatrician today and mentioned that it was a new person in the lab that did his blood work and that she did a heel poke instead of a venous draw. My pedi mentioned that it should always be venous and that his high count could have been because of the method. Anyone know? Should I call the endo and explain what happened today? We are going to see her on Friday.
