I was also told that squeezing while doing the draw would make the potassium level inaccurate. I haven’t heard that about the sodium, but our lab techs have always done veinous draws just to be safe.  The florinef dose sounds a little high to me, but every child is different. I would ask your endo on Friday. Maybe a repeat test would be the best way to go....
