Babies can often need a bigger dose of florinef than adults and older children.  My youngerst SW CAH’er took 4 florinfef when he was a baby to stablilze his sodium level.  It seemed crazy to me but that is what it took,  my oldest only took one florinef his entire life.  Anyway at about age one we started to cut down his florinef and now he only takes one per day.

I am also of the opninion that the heel stick only affects the potassium not the sodium level.
