Hi,

I’m new here. My brother has SWCAH, and my husband and I have both been confirmed to be carriers through DNA testing. We have one unaffected daughter, and are thinking of taking dexamethasone during our next pregnancy. I’ve met with an endo here in Southern California. She is willing to provide the dex, but admitted that she’s never dealt with CAH before. This makes me a bit nervous, as I want to make sure that the dosing, etc, is correct. Has anyone had any luck with consulting with Dr. Maria New’s office from a distance? Do you know if she is willing to supervise this treatment from a distance by working with my endo and/or high risk OBGYN? Or, if she will provide info to patients like myself?

Any advice from those who’ve undergone the dex treatment would be greatly appreciated!
