The medical records, including all lab reports belong to you---literally.  They do not belong the doctor, the nurse or whoever else says you can’t see them.  I usually ask the lab directly to send me a copy.  It’s often met with resistance but if you are persistant, they’ll usually do it.

On the collapsing veins...have a your child drink a glass or two of water right before the draw.  It’s a little nougat a nurse told me to do long ago and it seems to work every time.
