ACTH

Our little man (6 weeks old) just had some lab work done earlier in the week.  ALthough we are awaiting the results of his Renin and 17-ALPHA-OH levels, we did get back the following:

ACTH,PLASMA                      @ 59 pg/mL                      9-52
-  BASIC METABOLIC PANEL
-   BASIC METABOLIC PANEL COMMENT     ...
-   SODIUM                            137 mmol/L                  136-146
-   POTASSIUM                       @ 5.7 mmol/L                  3.6-5.0
-   CHLORIDE                          102 mmol/L                   97-110
-   CO2 CONTENT                       25 mmol/L                    25-32
-   GLUCOSE                           90 mg/dL                     65-110
-   CREATININE                      @ 0.4 mg/dL                   0.7-1.2
-   UREA NITROGEN                     13 mg/dL                      8-20
-   CALCIUM                         @ 11.9 mg/dL                  8.6-10.1
-  RENIN,PRA                          IN LABORATORY
-  17-ALPHA-OH PROGESTERONE           IN LABORATORY

Is his ACTH considered too high, or is that expected for CAH?  I’m also not too sure about some of the other elevations.  I would guess that some things are still returning to baseline given that he was in adrenal crisis just a few weeks ago. Any thoughts?
