Amber,

Demand an explanation of her results of the blood test, and try to find a pediatric endocrinologist that works with a pediatrician...maybe a clinic.  At six months your baby is at a critical stabilizing stage and you need to know if your baby’s medication is an appropriate dosage.  If unhappy with this lab ask for a referral to another ped endo from a trusted doctor.  Oschner’s hospital in N.O. offers care...Nemour’s children’s clinic in Jacksonville fl is a top pediatric clinic:  1800-sos-kids.  I don’t know where you are in the country, these two facilities may be able to help guide you.  Good luck.
