Usually height, weight, & current eating habits.  I had to keep a diary of my daughter’s daily diet & supplement with sodium until she was around two years.  I kind of relaxed after her condition was stable.  Doctor will usually tell you how to stay vigilant in times of illness & physical stress on the body.  Blood tests were done the same day ...they were kicking me out of the room when she was an infant...once they had to draw from a vein in her head , which I admit would have freaked me out.  Since she was 9mths I have been able to stay in the room with her during blood draws & she hasn’t cried at all as long as I was there.  Results were notified 2-3 days after the draw whether they were positive or negative & I always requested copies of her medical records.  Good luck & God bless.
