I agree with Elizabeth.  I have always been a mosquito magnet.  Just as you all described above, my bites swell up enormously and last for some time.  I lived in the Phillipines for a while and it was a miserable stint of duty for me.  The bites would swell up to sometimes 2 inches across and I would scratch, and they would become terribly infected.  One night I stood outside (this is back in the states) with my husband talking to some friends and was eventually driven back into the house.  They all had minimal bites, me, we counted over 100 on my legs alone.  My 5 year old and I went out on the canal a few nights ago to bring carrots to shrek our donkey friend next door.  By the time we got back we were running because we were getting bit up.  She had three, I had approx. 20.  My CAH gal never seems to get bit, but we will see as she gets older.  I think those of us who are made of sugar and spice just attract more bites! ;)   (Just joking).  Interesting thought though, I am going to keep an eye on Christi, now you have me curious.
