Interestingly, my daughter isn’t even a carrier even though she has some of the same symptoms as my son who is a carrier.  I think my husband’s side of the family has some kind of non-CAH excess male hormone thing, and one of us is a CAH carrier.  So I think my son has one CAH gene, and also extra androgens from my husbands side.  This is based on the fact that my nephew started getting body odor and a little pubic hair at 7 just like my son, but isn’t a CAH carrier.

My daughter now has PCO (she’s 15) which is also like CAH, and she’s taking birth control pills, which seem to be helping.
