Jennifer,

My name is Ian, and I was diagnosed at age 3.  I am now almost 26.  I know how hard things can be for you.  In school, especially high school, kids would find out and they would be chuck full of questions about this or that.  Very few would shy away, maybe its because I always played it down to them.  Only my best friends knew anything in depth.  I would always just say, its not a big deal, i just grow a little faster than you, and leave it at that in most cases.  As far as being tired, its just something to get over.  I played freshman football, had a job, a band, and spent most of my night life going out, and now i work two jobs have a band, a g/f, friends, and the gym to contend with.  I get through, if you can keep up with some exercise, I find its easier for me to keep up my energy.  Just make sure you drink some powerade or some sorta of drink with water also during your exercises.  It should help you feel better.  You should stop thinking you are so different.  I remember when I was younger, and especially my time in high school, i used to get so depressed, even over simple things.

Be cautious to an extent, but remember, its just something you have to deal with.  Everyone has their "thing" and some of us have more to deal with than others.  Its something you live with, dont let it be your life.  Do what you have to do to take care of your health, but live your life.

Be safe, and feel free to email me if you have any questions.  I hope this helped in some way.
