I wonder if you can where a different style of medic alert that’s not obvious.  I used to have mine on a necklace so that the medic alert part was under my shirt & no one could see it.  I feel if I had had a medical emergency situation where I was unconscious, medical personnel would still have noticed it.  Others may disagree with me.  Eventually I pulled the medic alert off the necklace & now carry it in my billfold next to my driver’s license.  I figure if I ever have a medical emergency where I’m unconscious, the medic personnel will look for ID & see it.  I realize others may disagree with me, but I do not want people to know my condition.  I had to report it on my insurance form for my employer & was asked what it was.  I just said my adrenal glands don’t work well unless I take medication.
